Spring
rains and flooding took out our high walk-over bridge in 2008. BUT,
progress on building a new bridge is well underway and we’re
truly grateful for God's provision. See the progress in pictures...
The bridge story continues:
The crane arrived and in two days took the two sections....26 tons
of welded, bolted steel and placed it on the piers so they are now
spanning 220 feet of the creek bed. Within a week, our staff had screwed down the wood to make
the walk-way. What you see in the final picture is the bridge almost completed. It
lacks the steel fencing on the side rails but that will be installed this week
so that we will have a usable, practical walkway; longer, stronger, and better-looking. Kudos
to the Soto Staff and praise to our gracious God for his provision
to make it happen.
